Uranus Moon: Belinda!

An image of Uranus's moon Belinda taken by Voyager 2 in 1986.

Discovered through the analysis of Voyager 2 photographs, Belinda is the ninth known satellite of Uranus and was named after the heroine in Alexander Pope's The Rape of the Lock. The moon was never imaged closely by Voyager and thus only appeared as wide as 3 pixels on the original photographic data. Belinda takes 14 hours and 59 minutes to complete its orbit of Uranus.
